Ultra Group Service Configuration
You can enable or disable the ultra group service for your application and modify the default service configurations on the Ultra Group Service page in the Console.
Modifying Service Configurations

Can users retrieve historical messages without joining an ultra group: By default, users cannot fetch historical messages when they are not members of an ultra group. When enabled, users outside the ultra group can also retrieve historical messages.

Can new members fetch messages sent before joining the group: By default, users cannot retrieve historical messages sent before they joined the ultra group. When enabled, they can fetch historical messages from before their membership.

Cloud Storage for Ultra Group Messages: By default, messages are stored for 7 days. Paid options are available for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.

Default push notification frequency settings for ultra groups: By default, a maximum of 1 push notification per channel per ultra group per user is generated per minute. @mentions are exempt from this restriction.
Due to the high volume of regular messages in ultra groups, offline push notifications are triggered only after accumulating 2 regular messages by default to control push frequency. @mentions are exempt from this restriction.
