Cloud Player Overview
The Cloud Player service enables streaming online audio/video resources into specified RTC rooms for user subscription. Ideal for scenarios like multi-party online meetings or live streaming.
If your use case requires simultaneous Cloud Recording of room resources, use the new Cloud Player APIs (Start Playback, Stop Playback). Legacy Cloud Player APIs cannot record streams at their actual resolution via the recording service.
Cloud Player Architecture
You need to provide RC with the pull-stream URL (labeled ③ in the diagram below), resource type, publisher User ID, etc. via API.
After pulling the stream, RC servers inject specified resources into the room. Streams injected this way are compatible with other RTC services like live stream mixing, live CDN relay, cloud recording, and RTC Moderation.
